PRME is excited to offer 2025 certification opportunities in innovative pedagogy for responsible management education. Educators who have been involved in the Impactful Five (i5) project—or those eager to explore creative teaching practices—are encouraged to participate.
Building on past successes, we now offer three certification levels designed to foster deeper engagement, expertise, and recognition. Educators progress through the tiers by attending workshops, implementing innovative practices, and ultimately demonstrating evidence of student success.
We are grateful to our partners at winded.vertigo for their support in facilitating this certification series.
This certification is exclusively for PRME Signatory Members and offered free of charge.
Educators can progress through three tiers of PRME Pedagogy certification, each recognizing deeper engagement and practical application of the pedagogy into courses conducted both in-person and online. Each certification builds upon the previous one and is designed to support educators through the meaningful transformation of their teaching practice.
Certificate of Participation: All educators begin by attending an Introductory Workshop, which is mandatory but can be taken at any point in the journey. To earn the certificate, educators must:
Attend the Introductory Workshop, and
Attend any three PRME Pedagogy Workshops
Upon completion participants will receive:
A Certificate of Participation
Certificate of Practice: Educators who want to further apply what they’ve learned move to the next tier when they:
Attend the Adapt & Implement Workshop designed for this level, and
Provide evidence of how they’ve adapted the pedagogy to the needs of their courses and students.
Upon completion participants will receive:
A Certificate of Practice
A digital badge that can be added to the participant’s LinkedIn profile
Certificate of Excellence: This final tier recognizes sustained, advanced implementation. To earn it, educators must:
Attend the Adapt & Implement Workshop specific to this level, and
Submit evidence demonstrating impact of pedagogical implementations on tangible student outcomes (e.g., skills development).
Upon completion participants will receive:
A Certificate of Excellence
A digital badge that can be added to the participant’s LinkedIn profile
Recognition in a dedicated news post on the PRME website about their journey
Introductory: Start your pedagogical journey with an Introduction to PRME Pedagogy workshop, emphasizing the potential impact on holistic skills development in business education. This is required to start the certificate.
PRME Pedagogy: These workshops focus on innovative teaching methods that enhance student engagement and skills development. The workshops cover active learning, experiential education, reflective practices, and faculty collaboration to advance responsible management education.
Adapt & Implement: These workshops provide hands-on opportunities to adapt pedagogy to course contexts, and implement measures of skills development into business courses. The workshops will scaffold these advanced efforts in risk-tolerant environments where faculty and admin can continue their change journey in a community of practice.
At the end of every workshop, participants should expect:
